Nike x Air Afrique Air Max RK61 - A tribute to heritage and comfort
Nike, in collaboration with Parisian collective Air Afrique, presents the Air Max RK61, a silhouette that combines elegance, craftsmanship, and culture. The design honors the heritage of Air Afrique.
The upper compliments the timeless silhouette of the moccasin and classic Air Max designs while incorporating aviation- inspired details, including a jet-engine-inspired Air Max unit, a Morse code on the sole that spells out "Air Afrique," and a jacquard sock liner reminiscent of vintage aircraft upholstery. Details can definitely make a statement.
The release is scheduled for October 9, 2025. The RK61 will be available globally via the SNKRS platform and at select retailers.
