Nike Air Max 98 La Mezcla

The Nike Air Max 98 "La Mezcla" is a unique edition inspired by the cultural diversity of New York. The model was created as part of the On Air project, in which fans could design their own versions of classic Nike shoes. Gabrielle Serrano is responsible for the design of "La Mezcla", who wanted to reflect the multicultural identity of the city.
The shoe's upper combines various shades of beige, brown and grey, symbolizing the different skin tones of people living in New York. Metallic silver and green accents reference the city's architecture and the Statue of Liberty. The whole thing is completed by a transparent Air Max sole, providing cushioning and comfort. The model has become popular among sneakerheads as a tribute to the multiculturalism and unique spirit of New York.
