The MSCHF Big Red Boot is a unique, exaggerated, cartoon-inspired shoe created by the art collective MSCHF. It became an internet sensation thanks to its fun and bold design. Released in February 2023, the Big Red Boot (often called the BRB) gained popularity due to its resemblance to the footwear of cartoon characters like Astro Boy and Mario. It features an exaggerated, chunky shape and a bright red color that immediately grabs attention.

The shoes are made of a combination of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) for durability and EVA foam for comfort, finished with a smooth, rounded surface. Their distinctive, rounded shape and vibrant color resemble something that would appear in a cartoon or anime, creating a deliberately absurd and exaggerated look. Despite the humorous design, MSCHF created these shoes with functionality in mind. They are reportedly quite comfortable, although putting them on and taking them off can be a challenge due to their stiffness.
