Supreme teams up with Dr. Martens once again to present a new take on the 1461 3-Eye for Fall 2025. The latest collaboration manages to capture the attention of the streetwear world once again.
Supreme and Dr. Martens – a long-standing collaboration
Supreme regularly returns to Dr. Martens because this collaboration gives them the opportunity to reinterpret the classic with their own streetwear flair.
Some projects from previous years include:
-
1461 Animal Print (2021) — with a zebra and leopard motif.
-
Modular 1461 with metal appliqués (2019) – a rockier, more massive look.
-
3-Eye in Patent Leather (2017) – Clean, minimalist style with a high shine.
-
1460 8-Eye Boot (2015) — classic high-top Dr. Martens with red and black patent leather, the first major hit of this collaboration.

Dr. Martens Model 1461
The Dr. Martens 1461 is the second most important shoe in the brand's history, right after the classic 1460. It debuted on April 1, 1961, hence its name (1/4/61). From the outset, it was designed as a sturdy, low-cut work boot for workers in factories, workshops, and public services.
-
It was the first "smart casual" alternative to Dr. Martens—lower, lighter, and more versatile than the tall figure eight.
-
It uses the same AirWair sole, made of shock-absorbing rubber designed by Klaus Märtens.
-
Initially it was mainly aimed at workers and office workers in Great Britain.
-
In the 1970s and 1980s, the model was adopted by the subculture of punks, skinheads, and goths.
Today, the 1461 is a staple Dr. Martens shoe in stores: a low-cut silhouette, yellow stitching, Smooth leather, and a distinctive, robust construction. Its simple design allows it to be easily transformed into premium versions, collaborations (Supreme, WTAPS, A-COLD-WALL*, Rick Owens), vegan editions, or experimental versions with a platform or stitching in other colors.

This year's edition features a bold skull graphic, giving a punk twist to the classic, minimalist shoe. The upper of this latest model is crafted from smooth leather, and the construction remains true to the Dr. Martens standard: a sturdy frame, triple-stitched seams, and an AirWair® sole for cushioning and durability. Supreme branding appears on the insole, and the Dr. Martens logo is embossed on the heel—nothing overdone, just a clean, solid finish.
The model will go on sale on November 28, 2025, at Supreme, and on November 29, in stores across Asia. Three colorways will be available: White/Black, Red/Black, and Blue/Black.
