NikeSKIMS x LISA: Luksusowa wygoda i powrót Tabi

The collision of two business giants and one of the most powerful K-pop stars was bound to cause a market earthquake. Kim Kardashian and Nike are bringing back the 90s' most controversial shoe, proving that fashion forgives and loves contrasts.

SKIMS: From shapewear to a fashion empire

When Kim Kardashian launched SKIMS in 2019, many treated it as just another celebrity whim. It quickly turned out that Kardashian had created a billion-dollar empire solving a real problem – the lack of inclusivity in shapewear (a huge selection of skin tones and sizes). Today, SKIMS is synonymous with luxurious loungewear, worn just as often at the gym as at prestigious galas.

The Power of LISA from Blackpink

LISA (Lalisa Manobal) joins the equation. Her influence on pop culture is simply colossal. As a member of Blackpink, she sells out the biggest stadiums in the world, and as an ambassador for luxury fashion houses, she has proven that K-pop dictates global trends today. Her role as the face and "Guest Designer" of this collection is a strategic masterpiece, combining American minimalism with Asian reach.

About the project: The history of Air Rift and a revolution in comfort

A key element of the Spring 2026 collection is the updated Nike Air Rift model. This shoe debuted in 1996, shocking the market. Nike designers were inspired by Kenyan long-distance runners who trained barefoot (the name comes from the Great African Rift Valley). The characteristic split toe (tabi-toe) was intended to promote natural foot movement. Although the shoe often caused controversy in the West, it immediately became a cult object in Japan.

In the NikeSKIMS Rift version, sports mesh has been replaced with breathable premium mesh and delicate satin. The color palette (powder pinks, off-whites, anthracite) is a direct reference to Kim Kardashian's brand DNA. The apparel accompanying the shoes is a modular system: asymmetrical bras, sculpting bodysuits with hidden zippers, and seamless leggings. They blur the line between professional yoga wear and sensual street fashion.

Tabi hooves are making a comeback, and in an "extra luxury" version. If you're afraid of a split toe in shoes, it means that contemporary fashion has escaped you by two full lengths.
