Rumors that Nike SB was preparing its own version of the Air Max 95 had been circulating for months. Confirmation came in the form of a special edition designed with skateboarding star Eric Koston.
Eric Koston joined Nike SB in 2007 and in 2011 he received his first signature model, the Koston 1. In later years The skateboarder introduced solutions such as the Koston 3 Hyperfeel with a Flyknit collar, and launched collaborations such as the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low (2019).
This SB Air Max 95 takes the classic Nike silhouette and brings it to the world of skateboarding. Featuring a Summit White upper and Obsidian Navy waves, the upper is crafted from suede, nubuck, and leather. The pair features yellow accents on the tongues, Swooshes, and Air units. Koston's name appears on the right tongue tag in place of the Air Max lettering.
The model will go on sale in the Holiday 2025 season.
